Luffing Lassies, Introduction to Racing

This is a closed event. Luffing Lassies hold, Check us out sessions in June and July for those women interested in learning to Sail in a Sunfish. Registration for this has been closed. The Luffing Lassie Introduction to Racing (ITR) program is the week after the ITS program.

ITR teaches the basic concepts of racing, Basic Racing Rules, Starts, and Tactics of sailing around the racecourse. They will now have the tools needed to continue to develop those skills they have learned and practice them on Thursdays throughout the sailing season with the Luffing Lassies.  New sailors will also be welcomed into the Lassies, finding new friends, and discovering a fantastic group of women the Lassies are.
